Around 2020, I was cast into what I can only call “space.”
It was strange, and at times, painful.

At first, there was darkness.
Then, with the arrival of light,
within a transparent sphere,
energy unfolded into color and began to undulate.

I could not tell whether it was the cosmos or a cell.
It was simply—beautiful.
